All of a sudden is the correct phrase.
All of a sudden the media are covering that story.

All over, Allover
All over means finished or everywhere.
The job of wallpapering the dining room was finally all over.
The paint spilled all over the floor.
Allover means covering the entire surface of something.
The wallpaper had an allover pattern of flowers and trees.

All ready, Already
All ready means totally prepared.
Steve tells us the system is all ready and available to use.
Already means by this time or so soon.
It was already noon before Steve could restart the system.

All right, Alright
All right must always be two words. Alright is considered a nonstandard
word. Avoid its use.
It’s certainly all right to be nervous before an important speech.

All the farther, As far as
As far as is the preferred phrase.
Is that as far as (not all the farther) you drove today?

All together, Altogether
All together means in one complete group.
The reports are all together on the conference room table.
Altogether means completely, entirely, or totally.
The presentation is altogether too long for next week’s meeting.

All ways, Always
All ways means by every way or method.
Ensure they look all ways before crossing the intersection.
Always means all the time or forever.
We will always remember the good things they did for the poor.
